Dr Luan Nguyen is a casual academic in the School of Education and a registered teacher in New South Wales, specialising in instructional design, teacher education and development of educators, and educational technology. His teaching and research interests include initial teacher education, literary and numeracy, sociology and philosophy of education, and TESOL/EAL. His publications include peer-reviewed journal articles and handbook/edited book chapters. His engagement with research allows him to incorporate his research interests into his teaching practice passion, creating an engaging, inclusive, and challenging learning environment. His work contributes to Sustainable Development Goal of Equity Education in alignment with 17 United Nations SDGs. He is an active member of Teacher Education and Development Research Group co-led by Associate Professor Hoa Nguyen.
