Professor Brown is a Senior Staff Nephrologist at St George Hospital and conjoint Professor of Renal Medicine at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. His clinical activities include general nephrology with specific interests in the fields of Kidney Supportive Care, healthcare for the homeless, obstetric medicine and hypertension, including hypertension in pregnancy. He has over 30 years involvement in medical education and has received teaching and research awards from the UNSW and several international groups. He has published over 330 peer reviewed papers and book chapters and received awards for his work including the International Chesley award for Pregnancy hypertension research. In 2018 he received an Order of Australia award for services to Medicine. |
