My Research Activities
My research interests are in metal additive manufacturing. My PhD thesis focuses on microstructure engineering and process-structure-property relationships in 2205 duplex stainless steels manufactured via laser powder bed fusion. I completed my honours thesis on microstructure-property relationships of additively manufactured high-entropy alloys. My current research aims to unravel the solid-state phase transformation pathways in additively manufactured alloys and to enable property-driven microstructural manipulation through tuning AM parameters and post-AM thermal treatments. I am also interested in the microstructural evolution and deformation mechanism of AM alloys to understand their mechanical behaviours.
