Alice is an Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) at UNSW Business School, both Alice's academic and teaching journey began at UNSW, where she completed her undergraduate studies, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Education (Secondary). Demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence and interest in delivering high-quality learning experience for students, she later accomplished a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Education, graduating with First Class Honours. In 2020, Alice started her PhD study at UNSW, where she examines dual-degree international students' experience of assessment and feedback at Australian universities. The motivation of her research is to help universities better support the increasing number of international students studying cross-disciplinary programs so that students' satisfaction with assessment and feedback increases.

 

Alice started teaching at UNSW since 2020. She has a track record for delivering interactive and high-quality tutorials, while leading and mentoring a large tutors team to enhance their teaching experience and abilities, which contributes to student success at and beyond university. Alice's teaching interests are in financial management, and is currently the associate course convenor for COMM1140 Financial Management, one of the eight courses offered in an integrated first year in the Bachelor of Commerce. Previously, she has taught Accounting and Financial Management 1A (ACCT1501) and worked as a marking tutor for Social Perspectives in Education (EDST1104) and Learning and Teaching: Language, Literacy and Numeracy (EDST2003).
