I am an education-focused Associate Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at UNSW Sydney. My specialty is in cybersecurity, having completed my bachelor’s degree at UNSW, majoring in cybersecurity, and spending several years refining practical skills in various cybersecurity roles in consultancies and multi-national organisations. In addition, I have worked as a full stack developer, building production ready web applications with cybersecurity by design principles.

My education focus is in offensive applications of cybersecurity, particularly in web application attacks and penetration testing of internal infrastructure. I currently convene Web Application Security and Testing, and help deliver content in binary exploitation, digital forensics, and practical security applications. Additionally, I dedicate my time to helping young students learn the basics of computing with high school outreach programs and introductory programming courses.

My research focus is on cybersecurity education and making an impact with training and course delivery. I want everyone to understand the impacts of cybersecurity breaches and data privacy leaks, and be educated in practical ways that make a measurable impact.

I pride myself in being a point of contact for student societies and deliver inclusive education for all genders, backgrounds, and skill sets. I believe that education is best delivered by first engaging students in the content and I build my courses with enjoyment as a primary goal. In my spare time, I enjoy sports data science and analytics, particularly in the AFL and basketball.
