Eihab is a lecturer at the UNSW Optometry Clinic. He has been employed at the clinic since 2015, supervising students completing their final years of undergraduate studies. He graduated from UNSW with a combined degree Bachelor of Optometry/Science with first class honours, is therapeutically endorsed and has a postgraduate certificate in advanced contact lenses. He has practiced in a broad range of clinical settings, having spent many years working in aged care and as a traveling Optometrist working in regional areas. He has particular interest in the fitting of Orthokeratology, amongst other gas permeable contact lens designs.
