Biography
Dr Alex Antic is currently the Faculty Head of AI Strategy & Adjunct Professor at UNSW Canberra, and a Deputy Director of the UNSW AI Institute.
Alex has over 23 years’ experience at the technical, operational, strategic, and leadership levels, having worked in federal and state government, retail and investment banking, funds management, insurance, academia, consulting and start-ups.

He was recognised in 2021 as one of the top 5 Data Science leaders in Australia by the Institute of Analytics Professionals of Australia.
His qualifications include a PhD in Applied Mathematics, first class Honours in Pure Mathematics, and a degree in Computer Science.
Alex is the author of 'Creators of Intelligence'.
