Marianne Martinello is a Senior Research Fellow in the Viral Hepatitis Clinical Research Program and Therapeutic and Vaccine Research Program at the Kirby Institute, an Infectious Diseases Staff Specialist at Prince of Wales Hospital Sydney, and an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow (EL2). As a clinician-researcher, she aims to optimise the diagnosis, management, and prevention of infectious diseases, particularly blood-borne viruses among key populations. Her work on the management and elimination of hepatitis C virus infection is internationally recognised, impacting health policy and clinical practice.
