Javier Videla Mario holds a PhD in computational mechanics from the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering - UNSW Sydney. His research emphasizes Isogeometric Analysis and its adaptations, applying these to problems across Elasticity, Fracture Mechanics, structural plates, and Acoustics. His work aims to develop precise computational tools to address critical engineering challenges.

Before pursuing his PhD, Javier earned his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Chile in 2018, graduating with the highest honors.
