Dr Chen is a Scientia Associate Professor at School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, the University of New South Wales, Sydney (UNSW Sydney) Australia. Dr Chen’s main research interests are sustainable energy system modeling, artificial intelligence, cyber physical system modelling, optimization and control, and their applications in smart grid. He has published about 110 high quality journal and conference papers in these fields. He is an Editor of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid.
