Dr Economidis joined the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre in 2018, after completing a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of New South Wales. His PhD focused on the evaluation of the implementation of family-based therapy programs to enhance government responses to reduce child physical abuse and neglect in New South Wales, Australia. He has worked on a range of projects in community health and child protection, including the Australian kava implementation pilot program in contexts of drug and alcohol policy.
