I am an Academic Dermatologist, Mohs surgeon, and Adjunct Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. Before relocating to New Zealand, I was a Consultant at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, where I provided dermatologic surgery services and trained registrars. My interests include Dermatologic Surgery, Artificial Intelligence, Evidence-based medicine and Sustainability. As a member of the Environmental Sustainability Group (ESG) of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, I actively collaborate with researchers worldwide on sustainability in dermatology. I believe that evidence-based medicine and sustainability are closely intertwined. By championing evidence-based practice, we can become better stewards of healthcare resources, reduce low-value care, and minimize waste, time inefficiencies, and potential patient harm.
