Ellen (Hee Min) Lee is a senior lecturer in Educational Psychology and Special Education in the School of Education at the University of New South Wales. 

Her research interests are grounded in Cognitive Load Theory, with a particular focus on: applying Cognitive Load effects to ill defined problems, enhancing learning for students with disabilities, use of mixed reality to manage classroom behaviour. Her research aims to explore how instructional design can reduce cognitive and better support diverse learners. She is also passionate about teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students about Educational Psychology and Special and Inclusive Education.
