I am a Senior Research Fellow at UNSW with a PhD in Health Behaviour Change. My research focuses on digital health interventions and community-based exercise programs, particularly for priority populations—including older adults, people with diabetes, and culturally diverse communities.

I lead and co-lead studies that explore the use of smartphone applications, web-delivered platforms, and clinician-led group exercise models to promote health behaviour change and improve clinical outcomes. Over the past two years, I've contributed to securing more than $4.1 million in competitive research funding (MRFF) and published widely on the effectiveness of community-based group exercise interventions to improve health outcomes. I've contributed to the development and evaluation of evidence-based exercise and lifestyle programs that support sustainable health improvements in community settings.

With over twenty years of experience in higher education education and fifteen years in research and health technology innovation, I bring expertise in curriculum development, educational leadership, and translational research implementation. My work is grounded in values of cultural responsiveness, innovation, and practical impact—ensuring that interventions create meaningful health benefits for diverse communities.
